To provide a weight measuring device and a weight measuring method for an opening/closing body principal part constituent member that makes easy and speedy a weight measuring operation for the opening/closing body principal part constituent member.SOLUTION: An operation to measure the weight of a panel 2 as an opening/closing principal part constituent member which constitutes a principal part of a shutter curtain as an opening/closing body of an over-sliding door device as an opening/closing device is performed by mounting the panel 2 through a flat bar on three strain gauge type load cells 26A to 26B as weight sensors arranged to be freely elevated by an air cylinder 27 as elevation means below between rollers 24 of a roller conveyor 22 as conveying means for conveying the panel 2, and this weight measuring operation is performed after the panel 2 is moved until a lengthwise center part M1 of the panel 2 reaches an intermediate point M2 of the distance from the strain gauge type load cell 26A to a strain gauge type load cell 26C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
【課題】開閉体主要部構成部材の重量測定作業を容易かつ迅速に行えるようになる開閉体主要部構成部材の重量測定装置及び重量測定方法を提供すること。【解決手段】開閉装置であるオーバースライディングドア装置の開閉体であるシャッターカーテンの主要部を構成する開閉体主要部構成部材であるパネル２の重量を測定する作業は、このパネル２を搬送するための搬送手段であるローラコンベア２２のローラ２４の間の下方において昇降手段であるエアシリンダ２７によって昇降自在に配置されている重量センサである３個のひずみゲージ式ロードセル２６Ａ〜２６Ｂに、フラットバーを介してパネル２を載置することで行われるものであり、この重量測定作業は、パネル２の長さ方向中央部Ｍ１が、ひずみゲージ式ロードセル２６Ａからひずみゲージ式ロードセル２６Ｃまでの距離の中間地点Ｍ２に来るまでパネル２を移動させてから行う。【選択図】図１４
