To provide a finger pinching prevention device which is capable of further reliably preventing careless pinching of a finger of an infant or the like in a gap between a door body and a door frame, and concurrently, which is excellent in strength.SOLUTION: A finger pinching prevention device 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a sheet-like member 20 having one end 20a fixed to one of a door body 12 and a door frame 16; and a receiving section 22 which is provided on the other of the door body and the door frame and receives at least a portion of the sheet-like member to which the one end is fixed. The receiving section 22 is provided with a reinforcing portion 30 extending in a direction in which the sheet-like member moves relative to the receiving section as the door is opened/closed. The sheet-like member 20 is provided with a slit part 34 extending along the reinforcing portion in a state in which the one end is fixed at least to one of the door body and the door frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
