To provide a stone material mounting method for mounting a stone material on a wall surface, capable of suppressing the fall of the stone material caused by the breakage or peeling of an adhesive while exhibiting sufficient adhesive force by a simple step.SOLUTION: A stone material mounting method includes a reinforcing member step, an adhesive dotting step, and a stone material arranging step. In the reinforcing member step, a reinforcing member 12 is attached to a wall surface 10. In the adhesive spotting step, an adhesive 14 is dotted at the position where the reinforcing member 12 is attached. In the stone material arranging step, a stone material 15 is arranged so as to press the adhesive 14 dotted on the wall surface 10 by the stone material 15. The reinforcing member 12 includes a screw driving part 12a, an upper reinforcing part 12b, and a lower reinforcing part 12c. After the stone material arranging step, at least a part of the upper end of the upper reinforcing part 12b and at least a part of the lower end of the lower reinforcing part 12c are covered with the adhesive 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
