To provide a vehicle door handle device and an electronic circuit device fixing method for vehicle door handle devices that can reduce the number of components.SOLUTION: A vehicle door handle device 1 comprises: a holding part including a base section 10 that extends in a predetermined direction, and a cover section 30 that covers a surface of the base section 10 that faces the outside of a vehicle interior; and an electronic circuit device 20 that is housed in the holding part. The electronic circuit device 20 includes a first electronic circuit unit and a second electronic circuit unit that each include an electrode section that contacts one another. The base section 10 and the cover section 30 include: engagement sections, one of which slides toward the other one in the predetermined direction and engages with the other one; and clamp sections, one of which slides toward the other one in the predetermined direction, and that clamp the electrode section of the first electronic circuit unit and the electrode section of the second electronic circuit unit to make them contact each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
