To improve efficiency of an iron cover inspection work.SOLUTION: A support device comprises: a storage portion 2 storing an explanatory variable corresponding to a deterioration factor of an iron cover of a manhole and a prescribed coefficient exhibiting degree of contribution of the explanatory variable to deterioration; and an estimation portion 3 calculating a risk value of each iron cover using the explanatory variable and the prescribed coefficient and determining that an iron cover whose risk value is equal to or larger than a threshold value is an iron cover easily deteriorating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
