To provide a ceramic composite comprising biphasic composites having connectivity between phases.SOLUTION: A ceramic composite, comprising (i) a first ceramic phase that comprises a first ceramic material comprising silicon carbide in an amount of at least 86 wt.% and at most 99.9 wt.% based on the total weight of the first ceramic phase, and boron carbide, and (ii) a second ceramic phase that comprises a second ceramic material comprising boron carbide in an amount of at least 86 wt.% and at most 99.9 wt.% based on the total weight of the second ceramic phase, and silicon carbide, wherein the silicon carbide particles of the first ceramic phase are separated from the silicon carbide particles of the second ceramic phase, and wherein the ceramic composite is biphasic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
