To provide a roof unit and a construction method of a roof structure capable of easily introducing tension to a connecting material for connecting bundle materials to each other.SOLUTION: A roof unit 3 comprises: a lattice material 30; a first bundle material 40A that is arranged in a first space part 33A of a plurality of space parts formed by a plurality of support materials 31, extends along the cross direction intersecting a roof surface 2a, and has upper and lower ends 40u, 40d projecting on both sides across the roof surface 2a; a second bundle 40B, which is shorter than the first bundle 40A, that is arranged in a second space 33B among the plurality of space parts, extends along the crossing direction, and is arranged so that upper and lower ends 40u, 40d are arranged to project on both sides across the roof surface 2a; a diagonal member 51; and a chord member 52 which connects the upper end 40u of the first bundle member 40A and the upper end 40u of the second bundle member 40B, and connects the lower end 40d of the first bundle member 40A and the lower end 40d of the second bundle member 40B to be introduced a tension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
