To provide a roll screen device capable of surely holding a cover and a cover box in a closed state without using an elasticity of the cover.SOLUTION: The roll screen device comprises: frames 1, 2 and 3 that surround three sides of vertical and horizontal sides; and a cover box 4 arranged on a remaining side. The cover box 4 includes a screen S in a rolled-up state, storage parts 7 and 8 for storing the screen S, and a cover 5 mounted on the storage parts 7 and 8 in a freely openable/closable manner. Restriction means R for restricting or allowing a movement of the cover 5 in an opening direction is provided in at least one of the frames 1 and 2 adjacent to the cover box 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
