To provide a waterproof member which has more excellent ventilation function and waterproof function.SOLUTION: A first U-shaped member 30 is constituted by forming a perpendicular surface section, an upper surface section 32 and a lower surface section 33 by bending a long metal plate into a substantially U-shape and forming a plurality of cut and raised holes 35 in the perpendicular surface section. Each of a second U-shaped member 40, a third U-shaped member 50, and a fourth U-shaped member 60 is formed in the same way as the first U-shaped member 30. The first U-shaped member 30 and the second U-shaped member 40 constitute a first waterproof unit 21 by facing and combining a release side 34 and a release side 44. The third U-shaped member 50 and the fourth U-shaped member 60 constitute a second waterproof unit 22 in the same assembling process as that of the first waterproof unit 21. The first waterproof unit 21 and the second waterproof unit 22 constitute a waterproof member 20 when a perpendicular surface section 41 and a perpendicular surface section 51 are brought into contact with each other and are arranged side by side in a state in which formation positions of a cut and raised hole 45 and a cut and raised hole 55 coincide with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
