To reduce a leakage amount.SOLUTION: This work machine hydraulic system comprises: a boom cylinder 14 that raises or lowers a boom; a work tool cylinder 17 that operates a work tool fitted to the boom; a boom control valve 20A that controls the boom cylinder; a work tool control valve 20B that controls the work tool cylinder; a horizontal control valve 43 that can switch between a movement operation position for horizontally moving the work tool and a stop position for stopping the horizontal movement; and a control device 42 including a first information acquisition unit 111 that acquires permission or inhibition of the horizontal movement in the horizontal control valve; a second information acquisition unit 112 that acquires at least one of a raising operation and a movement of the boom; and a horizontal control unit 114 that switches the horizontal control valve to the stop position when the first information acquisition unit acquires the inhibition and the second information acquisition unit acquires one of the raising operation and the movement of the boom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
