BALL TYPE FIRE HYDRANT AND BALL VALVE
To provide a ball type fire hydrant which suppresses pressure loss in opening the valve to secure a flow rate, is capable of causing water to flow in a state of suppressing spouting out linearly and in a diffusion state from an outflow side in valve opening operation to prevent scattering to the periphery while maintaining compactness as a whole, and makes it possible to clean a secondary side piping material with decelerated water, and also to provide a ball valve which is applied to the valve to suppress spouting out from the outflow side.SOLUTION: In the ball type fire hydrant, a ball valve body 1 is rotatably housed inside a valve box 4 by a stem 3 via a valve seat 2, and a mouth piece 5 for connecting a hose is disposed at an outflow port 21 side of the valve box 4. An annular body 10 protruding to an inner diameter side of the valve seat 2 is provided at the outflow port 21 side of the valve box 4. An annular water flow passage 40 partitioned and formed by the annular body 10, the valve seat 2 at the outflow port 21 side, and the ball valve body 1 is disposed, and a communication part 42 communicating from the annular water flow passage 40 to a secondary side of the valve seat 2 is formed at a part of the annular body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】弁開時の圧力損失を抑えて流量を確保したボール式消火栓であり、全体のコンパクト性を維持しつつ弁開動作時の流出側からの直線及び拡散状態の噴き出しを抑えて周囲への飛散を防止した状態で流水させることができ、減勢させた水により二次側配管機材の洗浄も可能になる。延いてはバルブに適用して流出側からの噴き出しを抑えることができるボールバルブを提供する。【解決手段】ボール弁体1が弁座2を介してステム3により弁箱4内部に回動自在に収納され、この弁箱4の流出口21側に設けられたホース接続用の口金5を有する。弁箱4の流出口21側に弁座2よりも内径側に突出した環状体10が設けられ、この環状体10と流出口21側の弁座2とボール弁体1とで区画形成された円環状通水路40を備え、環状体10の一部には円環状通水路40から弁箱2の二次側に通じる連通部42を形成した。【選択図】 図1
