To provide a means to mitigate impact when an opening-and-closing body comes into contact with an object existing in the body's thickness direction.SOLUTION: A buffer member for an opening-and-closing body: is fitted on an opening-and-closing body 10 that performs a closing operation to partition space; mitigates impact when the opening-and-closing body 10 warps coming into contact with an object X existing away in the thickness direction of the opening-and-closing body; and comprises a base part 51 fitted on the opening-and-closing body surface, and a cantilever-beam-like elastic piece part 52 of which one end in the opening-and-closing direction is attached to the base part 51 and the other end is a free tip part. An inner space S is arranged between the elastic piece part 52 and the base part 51 to enable the elastic piece part 52 to sag towards the base part 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
