To provide a coating film forming method capable of suppressing deterioration of an existing coating film and keeping beauty for a long period of time, while utilizing an uneven pattern and a color pattern of an existing wall face.SOLUTION: A coating film forming method of this invention coats a coating material to an age-deteriorated existing wall face. The existing wall face has an uneven pattern on a surface and comprises an existing coating film. The coating material includes a non-aqueous solvent (A), a resin component (B), and a thickener (C). The resin component (B) includes a polyol compound and a polyisocyanate compound, and includes an acrylpolyol compound with 40000 or lower of weight average molecular weight as the polyol compound. The coating material forms a coating film having a visible light transmission property, and ultraviolet transmittance is 30% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】既存壁面の凹凸模様や色彩模様を活かしつつ、既存被膜の劣化を抑制し、長期にわたり美観性を保持することができる被膜形成方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、経年劣化した既存壁面に対し上塗材を塗付する被膜形成方法であって、上記既存壁面は、表面に凹凸模様を有し、既存被膜を備えたものであり、上記上塗材は、非水系溶剤（Ａ）、及び樹脂成分（Ｂ）、及び増粘剤（Ｃ）を含み、上記樹脂成分（Ｂ）は、ポリオール化合物とポリイソシアネート化合物とを含み、当該ポリオール化合物として重量平均分子量４００００以下のアクリルポリオール化合物を含み、上記上塗材は、可視光透過性を有し、紫外線透過率が３０％以下である被膜を形成するものであることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
