FREEZE PREVENTION DEVICE
To provide a freeze prevention device which can operate a temperature-sensing switching valve body at favorable responsiveness with respect to a temperature change of atmospheric air.SOLUTION: A freeze prevention device 5 for preventing a freeze of piping has: a main body part 10 having a flow-out port 12 connected to the piping in a flow passage and making retained water in the piping flow out, and a discharge port F1 for discharging the retained water flowing out of the flow-out port 12 to the outside; and a temperature-sensing switching valve body 20 arranged in the main body part 10, and switching an opening/closing state of the flow-out port 12 by elongation/contraction in a pipe axial direction accompanied by a temperature change of atmospheric air which is taken into the main body part 10, being the switching valve body 20 for maintaining the flow-out port 12 in a valve-closed state when the atmospheric air taken from the discharge port F1 is equal to or higher than a prescribed temperature, valve-opening the flow-out port 12 by the fact that the atmospheric air taken from the discharge port F1 becomes lower than the prescribed temperature, and valve-closing the flow-out port 12 once again by a water temperature which becomes equal to or higher than the prescribed temperature of the retained water which is discharged accompanied by the valve-opening; and a ventilation port F2 which forms an opening different from the discharge port F1 at the main body part 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】外気の温度変化に対して感温式の切替弁体を応答性良く作動させることのできる凍結防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】配管の凍結を防止する凍結防止装置5であって、配管に流路接続されて配管内の滞留水を流出させる流出口12と、流出口12から流出した滞留水を外部へと排出する排出口F1と、を有する本体部10と、本体部10内に設けられ、本体部10内に取り込まれる外気の温度変化に伴う管軸方向の伸縮により流出口12の開閉状態を切り替える感温式の切替弁体20であって、排出口F1から取り込まれる外気が所定温度以上である場合に流出口12を閉弁状態に保ち、排出口F1から取り込まれる外気が所定温度未満となることで流出口12を開弁し、開弁に伴い排出される滞留水の所定温度以上となる水温により流出口12を再度閉弁する切替弁体20と、本体部10に排出口F1とは別の開口を形成する通気口F2と、を有する。【選択図】図6
