To provide a slide device which enables assembly between a slide door and a slide device to be performed reliably and efficiently.SOLUTION: A slide device includes: a rail 14 formed on a lower surface of a step panel 21B; a holder 34 being disposed at the lower surface side of the step panel 21B and having a fastened part 41A which is fastened to a lower unit 18 engaged with the rail 14; a power unit 20A which is attached to the step panel 21B and moves the holder 34 along the rail 14; and a holding member 40 which holds the holder 34 at a predetermined position along the rail 14. The step panel 21B has an opening 42 into which a fastener 37 may be inserted at a position overlapping with the fastened part 41A of the holder 34 held at the predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
