To provide a repair method for an exterior decorative member and transfer paper capable of not only repairing a design surface, but also providing a clear paint layer excellent in workability during the repair and excellent durability after the repair, onto the surface of the repaired part in the repair of the exterior decorative member.SOLUTION: A repair method for an exterior decorative member of the invention is a method for repairing deterioration or defects in design of an exterior decorative member, which comprises the steps of: replenishing paint or pattern ink into a portion to be repaired; and providing a clear paint layer on a surface of the portion to be repaired. A resin contained in the paint or the pattern ink for the portion to be repaired contains a component constituted of a polymer that has a cross-linking bond.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】外装用化粧部材の補修において、意匠面の補修に加えて、補修部分の表面にクリア塗料層を設けて、補修の際の施工性に優れ、また補修後の耐久性に優れる、外装用化粧部材の補修方法及び補修用転写紙を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】外装用化粧部材の意匠の劣化又は欠損を補修する方法であって、補修部分に、塗料もしくは絵柄インキを補填する工程と、その後、補修部分の表面にクリア塗料層を設ける工程を有し、補修部分の塗料、もしくは絵柄インキに含まれる樹脂は、高分子からなる成分を含み、高分子が、架橋結合を持つことを特徴とする、外装用化粧部材の補修方法である。【選択図】図１
