To provide a lifesaving ladder capable of achieving a non-obstructive convenience in a normal time, stability and efficiency in an emergency, and of saving life even in a rough sea.SOLUTION: A lifesaving ladder comprises: ladder-type body parts (143a, 143b, 141a-141h) with rigidity; a first hook part 147a with rigidity one end of which faces downward and the other end of which is fixed to the upper end of the first strut 143a; a second hook part 147b with rigidity one end of which faces downward and the other end of which is fixed to the upper end of the second strut 143b; and a held part 142 the upper end of which is fixed to the lower ends of the first and second struts 143a, 143b. One end of each of the first and second hook parts 147a, 147b is inserted into the openings of first and second fixing means with rigidity provided in the bulwark of a ship and is fixed to the ship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
