METHOD FOR PRODUCING RECYCLED INORGANIC FIBER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING INORGANIC FIBER PRODUCT
To provide a method for producing a recycled inorganic fiber which sufficiently removes a binder and can simply produce a recycled inorganic fiber having good quality from an inorganic fiber material such as glass wool and rock wool in short time, and a method for producing an inorganic fiber product which can produce an inorganic fiber product using a recycled inorganic fiber without impairing the quality of the product.SOLUTION: An inorganic fiber material obtained by coupling inorganic fibers with a binder of an organic matter is exposed to overheated water vapor under oxygen condition, at 300°C or higher, and at a temperature lower than a melting temperature of the inorganic fiber, and the binder is removed. The obtained recycled inorganic fiber can be used as a part of a raw material of the inorganic fiber product.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】簡便に、かつ短時間で、グラスウール、ロックウール等の無機繊維材料から、バインダーを充分に除去して良質な再生無機繊維を製造することができる再生無機繊維の製造方法、及び製品の品質を損なうことなく、再生無機繊維を利用して無機繊維製品を製造することができる無機繊維製品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】無機繊維が有機物のバインダーで結合された無機繊維材料を、有酸素条件下、300℃以上、かつ前記無機繊維の溶融温度未満の温度で過熱水蒸気に晒し、前記バインダーを除去する。得られた再生無機繊維は、無機繊維製品の原料の一部とすることができる。【選択図】なし
