To provide a crescent lock capable of preventing locking out and having higher convenience.SOLUTION: A crescent lock 20, which has a mounting base 22 fixed to an indoor sliding sash, a crescent 24 rotatably provided on the mounting base 22, and an operation lever 26 operated to rotate the crescent 24 and in which the crescent 24 is rotated into engagement with and disengagement from a receiver provided on the outdoor sliding sash to lock and unlock the indoor and outdoor sliding sashes, is configured to include: a locking operation blocking mechanism 40 for blocking locking operation to the operation lever 26 in an unlocked state; and a locking operation blocking on/off mechanism 44 for turning on/off a function of blocking the locking operation by the locking operation blocking mechanism 40 by a user operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】締め出しを防止することができ、なおかつ、より高い利便性を備えるクレセント錠を提供すること。【解決手段】室内障子に固定される取付ベース２２と、前記取付ベース２２に回動自在に設けられたクレセント２４と、前記クレセント２４を回動させるために操作される操作レバー２６と、を有し、室外障子に設けられた受け具に前記クレセント２４が回動によって係脱することで、前記室内障子、及び前記室外障子を施錠、及び解錠するクレセント錠２０において、解錠状態において前記操作レバー２６に対する施錠操作を阻止する施錠操作阻止機構４０と、前記施錠操作阻止機構４０による施錠操作の阻止の機能を、ユーザ操作によってオン／オフする施錠操作阻止オン／オフ機構４４と、を備える構成とした。【選択図】図４
