To provide an installation method of decorative sheets and decorative sheet units where a boundary of an installed sheet and a new sheet, i.e., an outer edge of a new decorative sheet, is difficult to be visually identified when the new decorative sheet is overlapped and bonded on the installed decorative sheet.SOLUTION: An installation method of decorative sheets of the present invention is the installation method of the decorative sheet to overlap and bond a second sheet on at least a part of a first decorative sheet, wherein the first decorative sheet is attached to the adherend, and the installation method comprises steps of: a boundary line determining step determining a sheet boundary line to be a boundary of the first decorative sheet and the second decorative sheet in a plan view after installation; a first thickness reduction process reducing a thickness of the first decorative sheet in an area including at least a part of the sheet boundary line on the first decorative sheet; and a bonding step bonding the second decorative sheet on the first decorative sheet along the sheet boundary line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
