WATERPROOFING DEVICE
To provide a waterproofing device in a simple and rigid structure, preventing abrupt water intrusion from the outside by quickly shutting out a flowing-water intrusion dangerous area of an opening of a structure.SOLUTION: A waterproofing device is configured to allow a waterproofing panel to be fitted in a panel attachment frame arranged in an opening of a structure in order to abut and support the waterproofing panel on an inner wall surface of the panel attachment frame with pressure through a seal packing and to secure its position by fitting a lock arm of a lock mechanism in the panel attachment frame. The waterproofing device is equipped with: a first receiving metal fitting in an inverted π-shape cross section configured to form a seat face fitting one end part of the waterproofing panel in an inside of one of both side frames of the panel attachment frame to support it in loose-fitting and a concave dent section in which the lock arm of the lock mechanism is fitted; and a second receiving metal fitting in an inverted π-shape cross section configured to form a seat face abutting the other end of sides of the waterproofing panel in the inside of the other of both side frames and a concave dent part in which the lock arm of the lock mechanism is fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
