METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING ALKALI AGGREGATE REACTION IN CEMENT HARDENED BODY
To provide a method for imparting a suppressing effect of an alkali aggregate reaction to concrete without affecting an effect of cement, although calcium propionate has the effect of suppressing the alkali aggregate reaction of concrete but delays hydration and setting of cement when mixed and kneaded.SOLUTION: A cement hardened body containing aggregate is immersed in an aqueous solution of calcium propionate having a concentration of about 5-26 mass% in the atmosphere or in a vacuum, or the aqueous solution is injected into the cement hardened body containing aggregate, or impregnated by pressurization, or applied by surface wet dressing or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】 プロピオン酸カルシウムはコンクリートのアルカリ骨材反応を抑制する効果を有するものの、配合混練した場合はセメントの水和や凝結を遅延させるといった課題があった。本発明は、セメントの効果に影響なくコンクリートにアルカリ骨材反応の抑制効果を付与する方法を提供するものである。【解決手段】 ５〜２６質量％程度の濃度のプロピオン酸カルシウム水溶液に大気中または真空中で骨材を含有するセメント系硬化体を浸漬するか、該水溶液を骨材を含有するセメント系硬化体に注入するか、加圧により含浸するか、あるいは表面湿布等により塗布することによって前記課題を達成する。【選択図】 なし
