To provide a water drain device that can be intentionally operated to drain water.SOLUTION: A water drain device 10 which is connected to a water channel leading from a faucet body S1 to a hand shower comprises a water pipe 20 that is connected to the water channel, a bag nut 30 formed on one end of the water pipe 20 and freely connected to the water channel on the faucet body side, a male threaded portion 40 formed on the other end of the water pipe 20 that can be connected to the water channel on the hand shower side, an opening 53 that connects the water channel to the outside, and a pushbutton 60 that opens and closes the opening 53 and can be operated from a closed state to an open state by an external operating force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
