To provide an installation method of a vibration control unit capable of being installed by easily imparting large initial tension.SOLUTION: A method for installing a vibration control unit, which includes a vibration control part that generates a vibration control force by a tensile force acting thereon, a first tensile part that is pin-joined to the vibration control part and pulls the vibration control part in a first direction, and a second tensile part that is pin-joined to the vibration control part and pulls the vibration control part in a second direction opposite to the first direction, comprises: a first pin-joining step of pin-joining the first tensile part and the vibration control part; a tension-tensioning step of tension-tensioning the vibration control part in the second direction after the first pin-joining step; a second pin-joining step of pin-joining the second tensile part and the vibration control part after the tension-tensioning step; and a tension releasing step of releasing the tension-tensioning after the second pin-joining step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
