To provide a partition device and an installation method of the partition device capable of improving workability as well as a function of partitioning.SOLUTION: A partition device 1 comprises: an upper rail 5 attached along a ceiling surface 2; a lower rail 7 attached along a floor surface 3 parallelly to the upper rail; and a partition panel 9 in which an engaged part 27 arranged at an upper end side is engaged on and held with an engaging part of the upper rail and an engaged part 13 arranged at a lower end side is engaged on and held with an engaging part of the lower rail. The partition panel comprises: a panel body 10 disposed with a gap from the upper rail in such a way its upper end surface 10a is positioned at a lower side than the upper rail; a gap covering member 20 arranged over a total length in a panel width direction to cover the gap, liftable with respect to the panel body, and having engaged parts; and an energizing member energizing the gap covering member upward for the panel body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】施工性の向上が可能でありながらも、間仕切性を向上し得る間仕切装置及びこの間仕切装置の設置方法を提供する。【解決手段】間仕切装置１は、天井面２に沿って取り付けられる上レール５と、上レールと平行状に床面３に沿って取り付けられる下レール７と、上端側に設けられた被係合部２７が上レールの係合部に係合されて保持され、下端側に設けられた被係合部１３が下レールの係合部に係合されて保持される間仕切パネル９と、を備えており、間仕切パネルは、上端面１０ａが上レールよりも下方側に位置するように上レールとの間に隙間を空けて配されるパネル本体１０と、隙間を覆うようにパネル幅方向の全体に亘って設けられ、パネル本体に対して昇降自在とされ、かつ被係合部を有した隙間遮蔽部材２０と、隙間遮蔽部材をパネル本体に対して上方側に向けて付勢する付勢部材と、を備えている。【選択図】図３
