To provide a cylindrical structure assembly method that can work even in a narrow space.SOLUTION: A cylindrical structure assembly method comprises: a lamination step (S11) for laminating a first cylindrical body and a second cylindrical body in a vertical direction and temporarily fixing them; an insertion step (S12) for lifting the first cylindrical body and the second cylindrical body temporarily fixed in the lamination step, moving a carriage on which a frame is placed just below the first cylindrical body and the second cylindrical body lifted, and inserting the frame into an internal space of the second cylindrical body by hanging down the first cylindrical body and the second cylindrical body; a taking-out step (S13, S14) for leaving the frame inserted in the insertion step into the internal space of the second cylindrical body and taking out the carriage; and a welding step (S15) for welding, on the frame left there, an inner peripheral surface of a joint part of the first cylindrical body and the second cylindrical body laminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
