To provide a fitting structure of an exterior material and an exterior material which can prevent intrusion of rainwater due to a capillary phenomenon and make the structure therefor inconspicuous.SOLUTION: A fitting structure of an exterior material 1 includes a first exterior material 1a including a first side end 2 and having a waveform, a second exterior material 1b including a second side end 3 overlapping a back side of the first side end 2 and having a waveform, and a fixture 5 that penetrates through the first side end 2 and the second side end 3 and fixes the exterior materials to a wall substrate 4. The first side end 2 has a flat plate part 6 to which the fixture 5 is inserted, and a folded part 7 folded to a back side of the flat plate part 6 from the side edge of the flat plate part 6. The second side end 3 has a bottom plate part 8 in contact with the wall substrate 4, and a projection plate part 9 projecting to the surface side from the side edge of the bottom plate part 8. The projection plate part 9 is brought into contact with a rear face of the flat plate part 6, and thereby forms a space S where the folded part 7 is partially settled between the flat plate part 6 and the bottom plate part 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】毛細管現象による雨水の浸入を抑制でき、かつそのための構造が目立ちにくい外装材の取付構造及び外装材を提供する。【解決手段】外装材１の取付構造は、第一側端部２を有する波形の第一外装材１ａと、第一側端部２の裏側に重なる第二側端部３を有する波形の第二外装材１ｂと、第一側端部２及び第二側端部３を貫通して壁下地４に固定する固定具５と、を備える。第一側端部２は、固定具５が挿通される平板部６と、平板部６の側端縁から平板部６の裏側に折り返された折り返し部７と、を有する。第二側端部３は、壁下地４に接する底板部８と、底板部８の側端縁から表側に突出した突出板部９と、を有する。突出板部９は、平板部６の裏面に当たることで、平板部６と底板部８との間に、折り返し部７が一部に収まる空隙Ｓ１を形成するように構成されている。【選択図】図１
