PROTECTIVE BODY, AIR BAG DEVICE IN PROTECTIVE BODY, AND METHOD FOR ACTUATING AIR BAG DEVICE IN PROTECTIVE BODY
To provide a technology for a protective body to be fixed on the ground, the technology providing more excellent safety than before, not requiring security of a power supply, and being capable of inhibiting protective performance from decreasing for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A protective body to be fixed on the ground comprises: a gas generator; an airbag bag body that is made to spread by gas supplied at the time of actuation of the gas generator; an actuation mechanism for actuating the generator; and an outer shell unit that houses the gas generator, the airbag bag body, and the actuation mechanism. The actuation mechanism includes: a starting-up unit that actuates the gas generator when triggered by displacement from an initial position disposed in an initial state before actuation of the gas generator to a start-up position; and a transmission member that has one end side connected to a fixation unit provided on an inner wall surface of the outer shell unit and the other end side connected to the starting-up unit, the transmission member displacing the starting-up unit from the initial position to the start-up position by transmitting external force from the fixation unit to the starting-up unit when the outer shell part is deformed by the external force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
