To provide a formwork for placing a concrete material capable of improving the quality of a concrete structure.SOLUTION: A formwork for placing a concrete material 1 includes a formwork unit having a panel member 10 having a front surface 11 facing a concrete material placing area 2, a back surface 12 opposite to the front surface 11, and a side surface 13 connecting the front surface 11 and the back surface 12, and a holding member 20 for holding the panel member 10. The holding member 20 has a support portion 30 that is provided so as to face the back surface 12 of the panel member 10 and supports the panel member 10 and an edge portion 40 that is provided so as to project from the support portion 30 along the side surface 13 of the panel member 10 and surrounds the side surface 13. The formwork 1 is formed by arranging the formwork units 100 side by side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
