To provide a stair safety device which can operate an airbag before a person crashes against a stair or a downstairs floor.SOLUTION: A fall detection device includes: a terminal device having a controller; a plurality of laser sensors 40; and a plurality of air bag devices. The plurality of laser sensors 40 is provided to a wall material 51 adjacent to a stair 50 in a matrix manner. The plurality of laser sensors 40 outputs the detection information containing the identification information and the information showing whether a person is detected or not. Based on the detection information, the controller obtains the position information shown by the identification information of the laser sensor 40 which has detected a person, and based on the obtained position information, the controller judges whether the person moving up and down the stair 50 is in a falling posture or not. When the controller judges that a person is in a falling posture, the plurality of air bags 21 positioned below the falling person is operated. The plurality of air bags 21 that has been operated is overlapped in a vertical direction to receive the fallen person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】人が階段や階下の床などに激突する前にエアバッグを作動させることができる階段安全装置を提供する。【解決手段】転落検知装置は、コントローラを有する端末装置と、複数のレーザセンサ４０と、複数のエアバッグ装置と、を備える。複数のレーザセンサ４０は、階段５０に隣接する壁材５１に、マトリックス状に配置されている。複数のレーザセンサ４０は、識別情報と、人を検知したか否かを示す情報と、を含む検知情報を出力する。コントローラは、検知情報に基づいて、人を検知したレーザセンサ４０の識別情報が示す位置情報を取得し、取得した位置情報に基づいて、階段５０を昇降する人が転落姿勢であるか否かを判断する。コントローラは、転落姿勢であると判断したことに基づいて、転落する人よりも下に位置する複数のエアバッグ２１を作動させる。作動された複数のエアバッグ２１は、上下に重なって、転落する人を受け止める。【選択図】図３
