To improve a reinforcing effect of a folded plate roof.SOLUTION: A method for reinforcing a folded plate roof includes a step of forming a through hole in a valley portion of the folded plate roof material, and a step of preparing a reinforcing material fixing member. The reinforcing material fixing member includes a main body portion and a rod-shaped rotating portion rotatably attached to the main body portion, and it is possible to take a first state in which an extending direction of the rotating portion coincides with an extending direction of the main body portion and a second state in which the extending direction of the rotating portion is orthogonal to the extending direction of the main body and the rotation of the rotating portion is blocked. Further, the method of reinforcing the folded plate roof includes: a step of inserting the reinforcing material fixing member in the first state into each through hole; a step of setting each reinforcing material fixing member into the second state; a step of engaging the rotating portion of each reinforcing material fixing member with the lower surface of a beam member, and a step of fixing a reinforcing beam member arranged above each mountain portion of the folded plate roofing material to a plurality of reinforcing material fixing members arranged in the extending direction of the beam member on the outer surface side of the folded plate roofing material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
