DAMPING JOINT BODY AND BUILDING FRAME
To provide a damping joint body that is excellent in maintainability and can guarantee stable vibration damping performance of the building frame within the narrowest possible range while suppressing the construction cost of the building, and a building frame provided with this damping joint body and a diagonal timber.SOLUTION: There is provided a damping joint body 50 connected to diagonal timbers 23 and 24 in a building frame 70, having a core material 30 formed of a ductile metal plate and provided with a first slit 33, and a restraining material 40 including a second slit 42 formed of a plate material and fitted into the core material 30 via the first slit 33 in a state where the wide surface of the plate material is orthogonal to the wide surface of the core material 30. Of the core material 30, the portion sandwiched by the second slit 42 of the restraining member 40 is a narrow portion 32 having a width narrower than the other portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
