To provide a zirconia sintered body having excellent safety and good color development while reducing cost.SOLUTION: A zirconia sintered body containing zirconia, yttria, an iron compound, and MnO2, in which the content of Yttria is 2 to 7 mol% relative to zirconia; the content of iron compounds is 0.04 to 0.16 mass% in terms of Fe2O3 when the total mass of zirconia and yttria is 100 mass%; and the content of MnO2 is 0.0001 to 0.005 mass% when the total of zirconia and yttria is 100 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】 コストを低減しながらも安全性に優れ且つ発色のよいジルコニア焼結体を提供すること。【解決手段】 ジルコニアと、イットリアと、鉄化合物と、ＭｎＯ２とを含み、イットリアの含有量が、ジルコニアに対して２ｍｏｌ％以上７ｍｏｌ％以下であり、鉄化合物の含有量が、ジルコニア、及び、イットリアの合計を１００質量％としたときに、Ｆｅ２Ｏ３換算で０．０４質量％以上０．１６質量％以下であり、ＭｎＯ２の含有量が、ジルコニア、及び、イットリアの合計を１００質量％としたときに、０．０００１質量％以上０．００５質量％以下であるジルコニア焼結体。【選択図】 なし
