To provide a steel door a connection part of which is securely connected while forming a steel door body 1 by welding a butt X of front and back face plates 7 and 8 by laser beam irradiation, even if the plate thickness is as thick as 1.6 mm.SOLUTION: When the laser beam irradiation is performed with a butt portion X as the connecting line, the butt portion X is welded while moving a wobbling in the two-dimensional direction to form an arc that crosses the connecting line, thereby obtaining a thick-walled laser-welded door body 1 with a thickness of 1.6 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】鋼製のドア体1を、表裏面板7、8の突き合せ部Xをレーザービーム照射により溶着して形成するにあたり、板厚が1.6mmと厚いものであっても確実に連結されたものにする。【解決手段】レーザービーム照射を、突き合せ部Xを連結ラインとしたときに該連結ラインを横切る円弧状となる二次元方向のウォブリング移動をさせながら突き合せ部Xの溶着を行うことで、板厚が1.6mmと肉厚のレーザー溶着されたドア体1とする。【選択図】図3
