To improve crime prevention of a saddle-mounted vehicle that can be wirelessly operated.SOLUTION: In a vehicle control system 100, a vehicle control device 1 includes: a communication unit 11 that receives a first signal and a second signal; an intensity detection unit 12 that detects the reception intensity of the first signal and the second signal; an output difference value acquisition unit 13 that acquires an output difference value; an authentication determination unit 14 that determines that the authentication of the first signal has been successfully performed when a difference between a value indicating the degree of a difference in reception strength between the first signal and the second signal and the output difference value is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, and determines that the authentication of the first signal has been failed when the difference is larger than the predetermined threshold value; and a control execution unit 15 that controls a saddle-type vehicle according to a control instruction when it is determined that the authentication of the first signal has been successfully performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
