To provide a joined body of a SiC clad graphite material high in bond strength, excellent in dimensional accuracy, and high in air-tightness.SOLUTION: A joint body of SiC-clad graphite members in which a CVD-SiC layer covers a surface of a substrate made of graphite and a plurality of the substrates are joined by the CVD-SiC layer via a mating surface, in which at least one of the substrates has a convex part higher than the surrounding on one side of the combination surface and a concave part opened toward the outside on the other side when combined with the other substrate. The CVD-SiC layer has a first joint part joining the substrate along an outer surface of the joint body, on the outside of the convex part of the combination surface, and has the second joint part penetrated into the concave part outside of the convex part of the combination surface and joining opposite surfaces of the substrates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】接合強度が高く、寸法精度に優れ、気密性の高いSiC被覆黒鉛材料の接合体を提供する。【解決手段】CVD−SiC層が、黒鉛からなる基材の表面を覆うととともに、前記基材が組み合わせ面を介して前記CVD−SiC層により複数個接合されているSiC被覆黒鉛部材の接合体であって、前記少なくとも一方の基材は、前記組み合わせ面の一端側に周囲よりも高い凸部と、他端側に、他の基材と組み合わせた際、外部に開口した凹部を有し、前記CVD—SiC層は、前記組み合わせ面の凸部の外側で前記基材を接合体の外表面に沿って接合する第一の接合部を有するとともに、前記組み合わせ面の凹部の外側で凹部に貫入し前記基材を対向する面同士接合する第二の接合部を有することを特徴とするSiC被覆黒鉛部材の接合体。【選択図】 図3
