To provide a crescent lock that regulates the rotation of a handle by operating a key cylinder to disable the unlocking without the need for a dedicated pedestal.SOLUTION: A crescent lock 10 includes: a pedestal 11 fixed to a meeting stile by a fixing member; a rotating shaft 12 supported by the pedestal 11 in a pivotal manner and rotating together with a crescent 13 and a handle 14; a rotor 15 provided in the pedestal 11 and rotating together with the rotating shaft 12; a lock member 17 movable forward and backward relative to the rotor 15 to regulate the rotation of the rotor 15 by contacting the rotor 15; a cover member detachably attached to the pedestal 11 and covering the fixing member; a key cylinder 20 installed in the cover member and rotating in conjunction with the rotation of a key inserted into the keyhole 20a; and an interlocking mechanism 21 causing the lock member 17 to move forward and backward in conjunction with the rotation of the key cylinder 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
