To reduce a risk of work.SOLUTION: A waterproof sheet installation method is an installation method to place a waterproof sheet 20 over a roof R of a building H having a linear apex R1 and a pair of inclined planes R2 that are inclined diagonally downward from the apex R1. The waterproof sheet installation method comprises: a distance/direction measurement step S10 to measure a distance and a direction from an arbitrary position under the building H to a plurality of feature points P on the roof R; a shape calculation step S20 to calculate the shape of the roof R based on the distance and the direction measured in the distance/direction measurement step S10; a structure assembly step S30 to assemble a structure S in which the waterproof sheet 20 is placed over a skeleton 10 having a shape corresponding to the shape of the roof R calculated in the shape calculation step S20; and a structure installation step S40 to place the waterproof sheet 20 over the roof R by lifting the structure S assembled in the structure assembly step S30 from under the building H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
