To provide a storage tank whose construction period and construction costs can be reduced during construction.SOLUTION: A digestion tank 1 is a storage tank made by concrete having an almost oval shape that narrows toward an apex end and a bottom end. The digestion tank 1 has a lower structure 4 and a side wall part 3 installed on the lower structure 4. The side wall part 3 is a pre-stressed concrete structure composed of a plurality of precast segments 31 dividing the side wall part 3 in a circumferential direction of the digestion tank 1.
