SEAL METHOD AND SEAL MEMBER
To provide a seal member and a seal method, in a reform for forming a new opening at an existing outer wall and fitting a cylindrical body into the opening, that are adapted to seal a gap between the opening and the cylindrical body.SOLUTION: A through hole 9 with a smaller diameter than that of an outer diameter of a cylindrical body 14 is formed at a seal member 10 in which an elastic layer, an adhesion layer and a mold release sheet are laminated. The mold release sheet 40 is divided into an inside release part 50 along an inner peripheral edge of the through hole 9, and an outside release part 60 of its outside diameter area. An inside release tab 52 and an outside release tab 62 are provided respectively at the inside release part 50 and outside release part 60 so as to extend toward inside of the through hole 9. An outer covering opening 22 with a smaller diameter than that of the seal member 10 is formed in an outer covering material 21, the seal member 10 is pushed into the outer covering opening from an outdoor side to abut on an outer wall substrate material 11, the outside release tab 62 of the mold release sheet 40 is pulled from an inside of the through hole 9 toward the outdoor side to release the outside release part 60 and an outer part of the elastic layer 2 is adhered onto a periphery of an outer wall substrate opening 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】既設の外壁に新たな開口部を形成して筒体を取り付けるリフォームに際し、開口部と筒体との隙間を封止するのに適したシール部材とシール方法を提供する。【解決手段】弾性層と粘着層と離型シートとが積層されたシール部材10には筒体14の外径よりも小径の通孔9が形成されている。離型シート40は通孔9の内周縁に沿う内側剥離部50と、その径外領域の外側剥離部60とに分割されて、内側剥離部50および外側剥離部60には、それぞれ内側引剥タブ52および外側引剥タブ62が、通孔9の内側に向けて延び出すように設けられる。外装材21にシール部材10よりも小径の外装開口部22を形成し、そこに屋外側からシール部材10を押し入れて外壁下地材11にあてがい、離型シート40の外側引剥タブ62を通孔9の内側から屋外側へ引っ張って外側剥離部60を剥がし、弾性層2の外側部分を外壁下地開口部12の周囲に貼付する。【選択図】図3
