To provide brace hardware capable of enhancing rigidity of a joint part with a wooden columnar material, and appropriately exhibiting seismic performance and energy absorption performance.SOLUTION: Brace hardware 10 comprises: a steel body part 12 arranged between a wooden columnar material 26 and a bracing material 24 in a joint part of the columnar material 26, a horizontal member and the bracing material 24, and having a damper part 12A for absorbing energy by deformation; a brace-side joint part 14 provided at an end part of the body part 12 on the bracing material 24 side, and joined to the bracing material 24; and a steel columnar-side joint part 16 provided at an end part of the body part 12 on the columnar material 26 side, and joined to the columnar material 26 by being fastened to attracting hardware 18 provided on the opposite side of the body part 12 in the columnar material 26 by connection bolts 30A, 30B penetrating the columnar material 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
