To provide a piping material excellent in fire resistance and hard to be damaged.SOLUTION: A piping material comprises a tubular peripheral wall. The peripheral wall has a tubular refractory layer containing 100 pts.mass of a thermoplastic resin and 3 pts.mass or more and 20 pts.mass or less of scaly heat-expandable graphite, where a compression ratio measured based on a flatness test specified in JIS K 6741:2016 is 20% or more. It is preferable to provide a coating layer that is located on at least one of the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the refractory layer and covers the refractory layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】耐火性能に優れ、かつ破損しにくい、配管材。【解決手段】管状の周壁を備え、前記周壁は、熱可塑性樹脂100質量部と、鱗片状の熱膨張性黒鉛3質量部以上20質量部以下とを含有する管状の耐火層を有し、JIS K 6741:2016で規定する偏平試験に基づいて測定される圧縮率が20%以上であることよりなる。前記耐火層の内周面及び外周面の少なくとも一方に位置し、前記耐火層を被覆する被覆層を備えることが好ましい。【選択図】図1
