To provide a revolving door with excellent opening/closing operability upon manual operation by causing the door to rotate in a direction horizontal to the door surface, reducing the rotation moment of the door around the axis of rotation, and supporting the door with a large weight.SOLUTION: A revolving door 0 is provided which features that a first door 11 in the shape of a rectangle and a second door 12 with the first door 11 rotated by an angle of 180 degrees around a rotation shaft around one vertex of the rectangle; and the first door 11 and the second door 12 are joined together, and a hole 21 is provided in the resulting joint to insert a rotation shaft 22. The first door 11 and the second door 12 rotate in the horizontal direction of the door surface, eliminating the need to provide a moving space for rotation. The weight of the first door 11 and the second door 12 becomes symmetrical around the rotation shaft, and the rotation moment of the revolving door 0 around the rotation shaft 22 becomes small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
