To provide a warning system capable of notifying of a fact that invasion occurs in a regulation area for regulating invasion wherever an annunciator is arranged in the regulation area.SOLUTION: A warning system 1 includes: a plurality of warning devices 11 for wirelessly transmitting a warning signal S; and an annunciator 12. Each one of the warning devices 11 includes: a light ray emission section 41 for emitting inspection light 40 to the other warning device 11; a light reception section 42 for receiving inspection light 40; and a communication section 43 for transmitting/receiving a warning signal S. The communication section 43 includes: a signal transmission section 51 for wirelessly transmitting a warning signal S when the light reception section 42 is shifted from a state where inspection light 40 is detected to a state where the inspection light 40 is not detected; and a signal relay section 52 for wirelessly transmitting a warning signal S when the warning signal S is received. The annunciator 12 includes: a ringing section 57; and a notification section 58 for allowing the ringing section 57 to ring when a warning signal S is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
