To provide a seal member which can form a plurality of watertight sections in an easily-assembled manner.SOLUTION: A seal member 60 includes a pair of ring parts 61, 61 and a plurality of columnar parts 62 connecting both the ring parts 61, 61 at circumferential positions spaced apart from each other. Further, the seal member 60 is interposed in a cylindrical gap α formed between an outer circumferential surface 26 of a housing 22 as a first circumferential face element S1 and an inner circumferential surface 51 of a case body 5 as a second circumferential face element S2, the elements facing to each other. Further, in the seal member 60, each of the ring parts 61, 61 is in contact with the outer circumferential surface 26 of the housing 22 and the inner circumferential surface 51 of the case body 5 over the entire circumference. Each of the columnar parts 62 is in contact with the outer circumferential surface 26 of the housing 22 and the inner circumferential surface 51 of the case body 5. Further, with this configuration, the seal member 60 forms a plurality of watertight sections 70 surrounded by the ring parts 61, 61 and the columnar parts 62 in the cylindrical gap α.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
【課題】組付容易に複数の水密区画を形成することのできるシール部材を提供すること。【解決手段】シール部材６０は、一対のリング部６１，６１と、互いに離間した周方向位置において両リング部６１，６１間を接続する複数の柱状部６２と、を備える。また、シール部材６０は、互いに対向する第１の周面要素Ｓ１としてのハウジング２２の外周面２６及び第２の周面要素Ｓ２としてのケース本体５の内周面５１が形成する筒状の隙間αに介在される。更に、シール部材６０は、各リング部６１，６１が、その全周に亘ってハウジング２２の外周面２６及びケース本体５の内周面５１に当接するとともに、各柱状部６２が、その全長に亘ってハウジング２２の外周面２６及びケース本体５の内周面５１に当接する。そして、シール部材６０は、これにより、その筒状の隙間αに、各リング部６１，６１及び各柱状部６２に囲まれた複数の水密区画７０を形成する。【選択図】図１５
