To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor capable of realizing high reliability while maintaining a high dielectric constant and excellent temperature characteristics, and a dielectric material.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises a multilayer structure in which a dielectric layer containing BaTiO3 as a main component and an internal electrode layer are alternately laminated and which has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and is formed in such a manner that a plurality of laminated internal electrode layers are alternately exposed on opposed two end faces. In the dielectric layer in a capacity region where the internal electrode layers exposed on different end faces are opposed to each other, a Zr/Ti ratio which is a ratio of a Zr quantity with respect to a Ti quantity ranges from 0.02 or more to 0.10 or less, a Ba/Ti ratio which is a ratio of a Ba quantity with respect to the Ti quantity exceeds 0.900 and less than 1.010, a Eu/Ti ratio which is a ratio of a Eu quantity with respect to the Ti quantity ranges from 0.005 or more to 0.05 or less, a Mn/Ti ratio which is a ratio of a Mn quantity with respect to the Ti quantity ranges from 0.0005 or more to 0.05 or less and a total quantity of other rare earth elements is less in relative to the Eu quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 高誘電率および優れた温度特性を維持しつつ、高信頼性を実現することができる積層セラミックコンデンサおよび誘電体材料を提供する。【解決手段】 積層セラミックコンデンサは、BaTiO3を主成分とする誘電体層と内部電極層とが交互に積層され、略直方体形状を有し、積層された複数の内部電極層が交互に対向する2端面に露出するように形成された積層構造を備え、異なる端面に露出する内部電極層同士が対向する容量領域における誘電体層において、Ti量に対するZr量の比であるZr/Ti比が0.02以上0.10以下であり、Ti量に対するBa量の比であるBa/Ti比が0.900を上回り、1.010未満であり、Ti量に対するEu量の比であるEu/Ti比が0.005以上0.05以下であり、Ti量に対するMn量の比であるMn/Ti比が0.0005以上0.05以下であり、Eu量と比較して他の希土類元素の合計量が少ない。【選択図】 図1
