To provide an electrically-driven pleated screen that can electrically raise and lower a shielding member with more silent interference noise caused by a raising/lowering cord.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven pleated screen of the present invention includes: winding drums 51U and 51L which allow a shielding member (screen 6 or upper screen 6U and lower screen 6L) to undergo electrical raising and lowering operations and which wind and rewind raising and lowering cords 3U and 3L to raise and lower the upper screen 6U and the lower screen 6L, respectively; motors 9U and 9L for rotating the winding drums 51U and 51L; encoders 8U and 8L for detecting the amounts of rotation of the winding drums 51U and 51L; and a control unit 10 for controlling the speed of raising and lowering the upper screens 6U and the lower screen 6L within a predetermined value according to operation signals. On the rear side of the upper screen 6U, insertion holes 61 and 62 for penetrating the raising and lowering cords 3U and 3L are provided invisibly in the front view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
