To provide building airtight structure and airtight member assembling method that can improve a heat insulation property, on a building constituted so as to include a building unit with an inner balcony.SOLUTION: An airtight structure of a building 10 has: a first building unit 12 arranged at a lower part of a flat roof 20 and provided with a wing wall 22 partitioning a half-outdoor space part S1 and an indoor space part; a second building unit 14 adjacent to the first building unit 12 and arranged at a lower part of the flat roof 20; a first ceiling joist 50 superposed at a lower part of a first ceiling girder 34 on the first building unit 12; a second ceiling joist superposed at a lower part of a second ceiling girder that is disposed on the second building unit so as to face the first ceiling girder; an extension part extended to the opposing ceiling joist side from at least one of the first ceiling joist and the second ceiling joist; and an airtight member superposed on the extension part and covering an opening between the first ceiling joist and the second ceiling joist from an upper part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
