To provide a wooden building which has high energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A wooden building includes horizontal members 42, a ceiling board 6, and a plurality of pillars. The ceiling board is provided on upper surfaces of the horizontal members. There is a gap between the ceiling board and the horizontal member which is at the outermost periphery. A resin sheet is provided which has airtightness and covers an upper surface of the ceiling board and also covers the plurality of pillars continuously by its inside surface. The resin sheet which covers the upper surface of the ceiling board and the resin sheet which covers the plurality of pillars continuously by its inside surface are continuous via the gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
