METHOD FOR PUMPING WASHED SAND
To provide a method for pumping washed sand that can pump washed sand while making it difficult to cause material separation.SOLUTION: In a method of pumping washed sand, washed sand is mixed with a thickener and water to make a slurry and then pumped. The thickener has the property of temporarily increasing the viscosity of the slurry, and the pumping is performed until the viscosity of the slurry increased by the thickener begins to decrease. 【課題】材料分離を起こし難くしながら、洗砂を圧送することができる洗砂の圧送方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る洗砂の圧送方法では、洗砂を増粘剤及び水と混合してスラリーにした状態で圧送する。前記増粘剤は、前記スラリーの粘性を一時的に高めるという性質を有するものであり、前記圧送は、前記増粘剤によって高められた前記スラリーの粘性が低下し始めるまでの間に行う。前記増粘剤は、例えば水溶性天然多糖類である。【選択図】図１
